Crowd Pleaser

If I had one last request
I would ask that this load be lifted from my chest
I would ask that my heart pumpmed blood instead of ice
And I would want to learn to love in this life.

If I had to ask for one last meal
I would ask that God and I could make a deal
I would want to figure out why I didn't get this life right
And then I would be OK to go home tonight.

If I had to ask for one last moment
I would ask for one particular key component
The one thing that got me through life
I would ask God if I could hold you if I can't make you my wife.

Just one last time.....

I would rather breathe than die
But I would rather die then to not remember your eyes.
Once all is said and done we will be joined as a family
But I fear that what I am asking for is blasphemy.

I only want the love that was given to me as a teaser
However I also want the love that you give to everyone as a crowd pleaser.
It is only to keep us quiet and content
I didn't mean any disrespect God, I just wanted to vent......
